How my commission process works
Whenever I open commissions, all my currently open slots will be listed on my Commiss.io page. I'll announce the opening on social media and then accept new project requests until the end of a set time period (usually 1-2 days), at which point I'll close the inbox and sort through all the submissions.While I try to give everyone opportunities to get art from me, I will prioritize giving slots to the ideas that I'm most interested in, or that I think I have the time/energy for. Requests that are overly complex, time consuming, or missing key info may be less likely to get picked if there's lots of demand, so keep that in mind! That said, don't take it personally if your idea isn't picked. There's always next time!I send all the invoices out at the start of the queue, and never begin working on any projects until after they've been paid for. If I've accepted your commission, please keep an eye on your email for the invoice so I'm not waiting around to start your drawing. (You don't necessarily have to pay the invoice right away if your project isn't at the top of the queue, but it's usually still preferred so I don't have to chase you down later to remind you!)Projects are usually completed within 1-3 business days of starting them, but the actual start of each project is dictated by how large my queue is (the order of which is mostly random, unless you have a specific deadline that you make me aware of in advance, like a birthday gift, etc). I also try to send out WIPs as I go so I can catch any changes early in the process - the quicker you're able to respond and give feedback/approval, the faster I will be able to finish your art!
Terms of Service
By submitting a commission request, you are confirming that you understand and agree to the following:
♥ You must be at least 18 years old before commissioning me.
♥ Payment is due up front - I will not start any sketches until your invoice has been paid in full.
♥ Prices may be subject to change according to project complexity. Additional fees may apply for modifying your request after work has already started. I will always inform clients in advance if changes/additions they request would cost extra.
♥ I retain rights to use past commissions, either in a completed state or as examples of in-progress artwork, for promotional purposes (unless requested to be private).
♥ Clients may use their commissions for any personal/non-commercial purposes, unless otherwise specifically agreed upon with me.
♥ Clients are welcome to post their commissions online, as long as they credit me where applicable.
♥ Clients may request to feature my own characters in their commissions, but doing so does not give the client ownership over those characters or affiliate the client with myself.
♥ I reserve the right to turn down any project request I receive for any reason, according to my personal discretion. I also reserve the right to cancel any project according to my discretion, with a refund where appropriate (see below).Refund policy:
♥ If a project is cancelled by myself or the client before I have sent any work-in-progress images, a full refund will be provided.
♥ If a project is cancelled by me while it is already in progress (as in, work-in-progress drafts have already been sent to the client), I will also provide a full refund.
♥ No refunds will be provided if a project that is already in progress (as defined above) is canceled by the client.
♥ No refunds on completed commissions.
Subject Matter
I WILL gladly draw:
♥ single images or sequences
♥ humans or anthros (furries)
♥ OC's (preferably with reference provided)
♥ ref sheets (see "Additional Pricing Info" section in the pricing tab)
♥ fanart of existing characters/designs
♥ multiple characters (see price sheet for rates per character)
♥ simple props and backgrounds
♥ more detailed backgrounds (for an extra fee)
♥ my OCs interacting with others' characters (the stuff I'm cool with may depend on the OCs and how well I know you, though - you can ask beforehand if unsure!)
♥ positive/validating LGBTQ+ stuff! that's my jam!I would prefer NOT to receive submissions involving:
♥ NSFW/fetish content. if you submit horny prompts here they WILL be rejected
♥ gore (light blood is usually fine)
♥ spiders/most bugs (I am a weenie and they scare me)
♥ really complicated outfits or mechanical stuff (I might still agree to do these on an individual basis if I feel up to the challenge, but it may cost extra)
♥ anything meant to mock or degrade a particular marginalized group, race, body type, etc. I can't imagine this one being an issue but I'm covering my bases
♥ as with pretty much everything else I've covered, if you're not sure, just ask! as long as it's not something like, morally objectionable, I'm typically not gonna judge you for just asking questions!If I've missed anything or made an error, please feel free to reach out and ask for clarification! COMMISSION PRICING
All prices are in USD, with payments handled via Commiss.io!(clicking the images below will link you to full-res versions!)
Character Artwork Pricing
♥ SKETCHES
Rough, quick drawings usually done with a thick pen.
$45 per character drawing♥ CLEAN INKS
Crisp, full-detail linework with a white underlay.
$65 per character drawing♥ BASIC COLOUR
Same as the inks category, but with the addition of flat colour.
$80 per character drawing♥ FULL COLOUR
Clean lines, colour, and shading: the whole package.
$100 per character drawingFor the sake of clarification: drawing the same character multiple times is counted as multiple character drawings for the purpose of pricing.
Background Pricing
Background prices are per drawing. In many cases, the same background can be reused between multiple drawings in a set/sequence (especially when it's in one of the more simple styles).
These style options can be mixed-and-matched with most of my character art styles, though I'd typically recommend not getting a Full-Colour Scene if the character art isn't also Full Colour (unless you're specifically trying to make it look like an old animation cel or something).
♥ PATTERN/GRADIENT: FREE
Included with all character art by default (except sketches) if no other background style is selected . Usually sufficient if it isn't too important to specify location/context.♥ OUTLINES/SILHOUETTES: $20
Simple and sketchy basic shapes; just enough detail to establish the setting without drawing too much attention to itself.♥ LINES + MONOCHROME: $40
Similar to the previous style, but with clean linework that leaves more room for detail/depth.♥ FULL-COLOUR SCENE: $70
Matches quality and general style of my full-colour character art, including appropriate lighting and effects. (Overly complicated/densely detailed BGs may cost a little extra, on a case-by-case basis)A piece of basic furniture (such as a chair/bed/couch) can be included for free even without paying for a background, and will be done in the same style as the character (the same goes for simple props).
Additional scenery may incur a partial BG fee though, based on complexity. Ask me if you're unsure!
Emote/Icon Pricing
♥ BASIC: $30 each
Simple, flat colour, high clarity. Great for use as emotes/stickers!♥ DELUXE: $50 each
More detailed shaded portraits or stickers. Ideal for profile icons!
Additional Pricing Info
♥ These price categories are benchmarks and may vary on an individual basis as needed. I'm also willing to discuss style/format categories other than those listed, or combine multiple styles!♥ I charge an extra 25% fee for drawing characters without existing reference pics, since designing from scratch takes longer. Pricing for full character reference sheets varies based on the number of drawings and level of complexity - ask me directly and I can give you an estimate based on your needs!
